LIFELINE welcomes donors to ‘Luck ‘O The Irish’ blood drive

JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, but one organization isn’t searching for gold — they’re searching for lifesavers.

LIFELINE Blood Services kicked off its “Luck O’ The Irish” themed blood drive Thursday at their Jackson location on 183 Sterling Farms Drive.

The special event continues through 6 p.m.

All donors received a food voucher for a free lunch special from Coyote Blues, and a limited edition St. Patrick’s Day themed T-shirt.

“We welcome all blood types, ’cause all blood types truly save lives,” said LIFELINE Marketing Manager Melinda Reid. “We have 21 counties to serve right here in West Tennessee, so we have a big job to do, and we couldn’t do it without our wonderful donors.”

One blood donation can save up to three lives.
