Snake-wielding theft suspects still at large
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A local gas station was robbed by snake wielding thieves.
At a truck stop just off of Interstate 40, a few individuals entered the building. When they entered, you can see them on security footage holding two snakes. You can see them talking to a cashier for a few minutes. The cashier appears to be taking a photo of the snakes and he even held one for some time.
After awhile, one of the individuals who previously had a snake, was seen grabbing something off of the counter and running out of the door. The cashier jumped over the counter to chase after the individual.
A camera outside captured one individual holding the door open for the thief, snake in hand, as they ran to their car set ready for the getaway. The cashier chased them outside with a wet floor sign, and he throws it at the car as they drove away.
The Madison County Sheriff’s Office shared this footage with us. They were able to confirm that this is an active investigation. They also told us that the individuals responsible for the theft have not been caught. It was reported that they stole nearly $400 of CBD oil.
