JPD makes arrests in North Highland Shooting

Update: Suspects In 1400 N. Highland Shooting in Custody
Jackson, TN. – [March 14, 2025] – As a result of investigative work, the Jackson, TN-Police Department announces the arrest of six suspects, five
adults, and one 17-year-old juvenile in connection with the N. Highland shooting.
The 17-year-old is charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder (x4), Reckless Endangerment, Possession Of A Firearm During the Commission Of
A Dangerous Felony, and Evading Arrest.
Lafrancese Johnson, 32-year-old black female. Courtney Boyland, 33-year-old black male, and Jakobe Shaw, 19-year-old black male, are all
charged with the following: Attempted Second Degree Murder (2x), Reckless Endangerment, Employing A Firearm During A Dangerous Felony
(x2).
Kier Smith, 19-year-old black male, charged with Attempted Second Degree Murder (x4), Reckless Endangerment, Possession Of A Firearm During the Commission Of A Dangerous Felony, Evading Arrest.
Destion Harrison, 20-year-old black male, charged with Accessory To Attempted Second Degree Murder.
