Crockett County Sheriff’s Dept. launches ‘Chief 360’ emergency response software
ALAMO, Tenn. — The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department has new software that makes emergency response more efficient.
The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department is utilizing the innovative ‘Chief 360’ software to enhance emergency response. This tool is designed to improve response times and enhance communication between dispatch and responding agencies.
“There’s about 15 responding agencies in Crockett County. It allows those agencies to see what’s going on and know that a call is coming out even though they may not have all of the details regarding that call,” said Stephen Sutton, public information officer for Crockett County.
In emergencies, every second counts and with Chief 360 they are taking proactive steps to ensure that first responders are alerted and mobilized quicker than ever before.
“The goal behind that is to reduce the amount of time it takes for us to get on scene and to ultimately save lives and make a difference,” said Sutton.
The Crockett County Sheriff’s Department believes this will be a new standard for efficiency in emergency management.
“Alamo Police Department may receive a call on a street. They can see the address and as dispatch puts in that information they receive a pre-alert that they’re able to see on the app before they get the information to put it out over the radio,” said Sutton.
Thanks to their director, Robert Howell, the implementation of this cutting-edge technology positions Crockett County as a leader in emergency response innovation. The Chief 360 app is available in the google and apple app stores.
