Day 1 of McNairy County Spring Carnival kicks off

SELMER, Tenn. — It’s time for rides, food and fun games, as the McNairy County Spring Carnival comes to town.

The spring carnival is rolling into Selmer from Friday, March 21 through next Saturday, March 29. It’s held at the McNairy County Ag Event Center. Whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just in it for the delicious treats, there’s something for everyone!

You can expect exciting rides for all ages, delicious carnival food like cotton candy and funnel cakes, plus fun games and prizes.

“We’re really excited for all of the residents of McNairy Co. And also Jackson residents are receiving $5 off of admission since they’re not able to make it up there this year,” said .

The carnival will be open Saturday and Sunday in two sessions from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. then from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday it will be open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Armbands will be sold for any session for $20 per person.

Tickets for rides will also be available for sale. Rides require anywhere from two to six tickets. For more information, click here.
