Jackson Rotary Club hosts special guest speaker

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Rotary Club held a meeting Wednesday at First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson.

They heard from speaker Lori Weir who gave a speech on “how individual talents seed world peace.” Weir spoke on how to get on a personal journey to contribute to world peace.

“The way that we believe that we can march toward world peace is to come to peace with ourselves. You know, sometimes the big divide is not just the deficit based world we live in but it’s the world that we live in in our mind,” said Weir, CEO of Strong Communities.

Weir shares that every person is wired in a unique way to contribute to their communities and the world.
