Jackson Fire Dept. launches new website to drive public safety, recruitment and community engagement

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Fire Department is proud to announce the launch of a new website, in partnership with the Jackson Fire + Rescue Community Safety project, to better connect with the Jackson community. This new digital platform is a hub for residents, businesses, and prospective firefighters to learn about fire safety, department initiatives, access public resources, and how to get involved or support the Fire Department.

“We’re pleased to introduce this website as a powerful tool for sharing our mission, supporting our firefighters, and engaging with the public,” said Fire Chief Don Friddle. “Our goal is to make it easier than ever for the Jackson community to learn about fire prevention, get involved with public safety initiatives, and to celebrate our first responders.”

The new website offers many new resources, including:

• Fire Safety & Education Resources – Practical tips for emergency preparedness, fire safety, fire equipment, and public tools.
• Community Engagement – Information about new Fire Department initiatives, such as our Ride-Along program, CPR training, and Community Connect for businesses.
• Recruitment & Career Info – Everything prospective firefighters need to know about joining JFD, including benefits, career growth, training, and physical requirements.
• Donation & Support – We partner with individuals and businesses to support our life-saving work in Jackson through financial support, volunteering, or through our proposed “Adopt-a-Fire-Station” program. Learn how you can get involved!
