Weather Update: Monday, March 31 —

Good Morning West Tennessee. There are still lingering showers in southwest Tennessee. A surface front has been hung up in N Alabama/NE Mississippi. It will finally get a yank to the south through mid to late morning bringing the pesky showers to an end. As for the rest of the area, polar continental high pressure will be in control through Tuesday. It will provide a northerly wind through today which will tend to hold temps back, though we’ll still warm to around 62~63°F at the warmest point of the day. Skies will also gradually clear from north to south.

Tonight:
Mainly clear skies and aforementioned high pressure will set temps into freefall tonight likely into the low 40s or upper 30s for some overnight. there should be enough of a easterly wind tonight to forgo a frost threat, but it will still be quite chilly to start out on Tuesday morning.
