Bethel Chris Nelson wins coach of the year
Let’s start things off with bethel women’s basketball.
As head coach Chris Nelson has been named
NAIA women’s basketball coach of the year.
Nelson led his team to its first Mid-South Conference title this season and continued the season where
the Wildcats went on to secure the teams first semifinal appearance at the NAIA
championship.
Coach Nelson’s 402 career victories rank him 13th in wins among active women’s
basketball coaches in the NAIA. He has led Bethel to 12 seasons with 20-plus wins
but, what’s a great coach without some great players?

Bethel’s Madison Hart who was named first team all-American while Micah Hart was
named to the second team congrats to them all.
