Trenton Police Arrest Suspected Car Burglar

TRENTON, Tenn. – A Trenton man is behind bars Wednesday, accused of breaking into at least eight cars over the Labor Day weekend. According to police, Mister Burnett, 18, broke into the cars after being released from jail on other charges. They said he stole expensive electronics like iPods, GPS devices and radar detectors. Burnett is now charged with eight counts of burglary, but investigators said they have recovered some items that have not yet been reported stolen. Those items will have to be identified and returned to the rightful owners. More charges against Burnett could follow. Any victims are asked to contact the Trenton Police Department at (731) 855-1413.
