Teen Arrested in Reagan Cafe Burglary

HENDERSON CO. Tenn. – A teen accused of stealing two cars and burglarizing a cafe in Henderson County is behind bars. Investigators with the Henderson County Sheriff’s Department say the suspect was 17 years old when the crimes were committed. Officers believe he was the one caught on camera stealing money at Reagan Cafe and driving a stolen car. They said when he was arrested in Decatur County earlier this week, he was driving another stolen car. This week he also turned 18 years old. “He has been arrested before as a juvenile on similar charges, break-ins and thefts,” Captain Tracey Grisham of the Henderson Co. Sheriff’s Department said. The teen will be charged as an adult at his first court appearance on Tuesday. Investigators say he was released on probation for only 12 days before the Reagan Cafe break in.
