Area flooding closes road in south Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.– We continue our team coverage with the affects of flooding across West Tennessee.

Our crew went out across the area Sunday and found many roads underwater and closed such as Perry Switch Road in South Jackson.
Water is completely over the roadway and impassible.

Road crews have put up signs alerting drivers that the road is closed due to the high water.
It may be a while before this area sees the waters recede as its near the South Fork of the Forked Deer River.
