JACKSON, Tenn.-The South Fork of the Forked Deer River is running high at the Westover Road bridge in West Jackson.

Rains from the last few days have made the river swell with very swift water running beneath the bridge.
A portion of the river is also encroaching on Westover Road in this area.

It may be several days before the Forked Deer River levels drop. It’s currently running about three feet above flood stage in Jackson.
