NORTH JACKSON, Tenn. — Officials at Union University tell WBBJ that the enrollment status of the student accused of setting of two bottle bombs on campus last month is under review. The student, Collin Mccartney, 18, faces two counts of disorderly conduct. Mccartney has been served with a criminal summons. Mccartney’s 19-year-old brother Jeffery Mccartney as well as James Barnes, 20, and Joseph Coley, 19, were also served with criminal summons. The four must report to the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex on any business day between Monday and Friday, during normal business hours for booking and processing. Each man must be processed by 3 p.m. October. 25. If either man fails to appear for booking and processing by the deadline, then he will be arrested for a separate criminal offense regardless of the disposition of the case. No one was hurt in the explosions.
