Easter dinner made easy with ‘Heat n’ Serve’ meals

JACKSON, Tenn. — With Easter less than two weeks away, you may be starting to stress about the traditional family dinner.

Creating an effortless Easter dinner can allow you to enjoy more time with loved ones, without spending hours in the kitchen to prep and clean-up. Heat n’ Serve meals are convenient and becoming more popular as people try to balance busy schedules and the holidays.

Cracker Barrel is offering easy-to-serve meals packaged with everything you need to serve up to 10 guests. With spiral sliced sugar-cured ham or prime rib as the main course.

Side dishes, dessert and drinks can be added as well.

“Have everything ready in advance. Set the table the night before, even set the coffee. Of course, have your baskets made and laid out the night before. Do whatever you can in advance to make it easier,” said Joann Butler, Consultancy Media Inc.

According to the National Retail Federation, in 2024 consumers spent just shy of $58 per person on food and nearly $25 per person on candy.
