Madison County Conservation Board discusses upcoming projects, events
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local group shares some of their projects coming to local parks.
The Madison County Conservation Board Meeting was held Tuesday evening discussing topics including the upcoming State Games and the Easter Extravaganza.
They also talked about the new Eva Mae Greer and Van Lawson Talley Family Park being built in Beech Bluff. The park is set to open by fall this year. They are also looking for camp counselors for this year’s Summer Camp.
“We’re interviewing this week and next week. We need some kids that are responsible and it will look good on your resume to be a summer camp counselor and it is something if your going to be here the next couple summers we will invite you back if you do a good job” said Matthew Martin, Executive Director of Madison County Parks & Recreation.
The camps will take place this June and July. For more information on becoming a Camp Councilor click here.
