Pastors pray over WBBJ staff

JACKSON, Tenn. – Several pastors from the Hub City visited WBBJ on Thursday, April 10, to pray over the staff.

The pastors, led by Pastor Clarence Currie of New Day Ministries, provided encouraging words to the staff and weather team prior to praying over the group. The group specifically thanked meteorologists Moe Shamel and Brian Davis for working countless hours to ensure the community stayed aware of the weather threats and had the knowledge they needed to stay safe.

Following prayer, the group presented a gift basket filled with fruit, snacks, and chocolate to the team.

The prayer circle has made various visits throughout the area to pray for various departments and businesses.

Currie said the prayer circle has plans to meet and pray with other groups involved in serving the community during severe weather and natural disasters.

WBBJ appreciates the time the group took to stop by and pray for the station and for the gift basket of treats.
