Three Dollar Generals Robbed in Three Days

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn.– Authorities investigate three Dollar General robberies in three days. Around 10 p.m. Monday deputies say two black men robbed the Dollar General on Beech Bluff Road. “It’s very interesting, especially this time of year and the way the economy is, so it’s kind of scary for everybody,” Jill Sheppard said, who works across the street. “Just thinking about maybe that might be your neighbor you know that, it does concern you.” Sunday night deputies say two black men robbed the Dollar General on Nika Drive in Three Way. Saturday night Jackson police confirm two men robbed the store on North Highland Avenue. “There is a possibility they could be connected, but we’re looking further into the video,” Lt. Felicia Stacy said, with the Madison County Sheriff‘s Office. Stacy says the suspects in both Madison County robberies wore masks. In Three Way investigators say the suspects carried guns. In Beech Bluff deputies say the suspects had a knife. “When it comes to stuff like this it gets kind of to you a little bit,” Sheppard said. Jackson police say the suspects in Saturday‘s robbery left in a white Malibu. Deputies do not have a description of the get away car in the Madison County robberies. If you have information about the robberies call the Jackson Police Department, Madison County Sheriff‘s Office, or Crime Stoppers.
