Union University Holds 16th Annual Scholarship Banquet

JACKSON, Tenn. — A special guest took center stage to a sold out crowd tonight to help raise money for local college students. Doctor Benjamin Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins was the keynote speaker for Union University’s 16th annual scholarship banquet. The banquet, held at the Carl Perkins Civic Center has become one of the premier events in West Tennessee each year. It is also Union’s primary fund raising event for its student scholarship fund.
