Local student has art featured in exhibit

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local student gets the opportunity to share his art.

Earlier Friday evening, we interviewed Bryant Price, a senior at Madison Academic High School and an aspiring artist. His work is currently on display at The Ned’s upper gallery showcase room in downtown Jackson.

This is Price’s first art exhibition. He was able to pick a handful of his most iconic pieces to put on display.

“There is one piece in there that’s like 2 inch by 2 inch and people like that one the most. It’s kind of crazy seeing that people like the smaller one most when I have bigger pieces but it also gives me inspiration to show that a small piece can only go so far. Usually, when people get this canvas they think they can’t really do much — especially people who like to do realism — but I want to do realism and I feel like I could really put realism on this canvas,” said Price.

The exhibit will be up all month long until April 30th. If you want to check out more of Price’s art, click here.
