Town-wide yard sale in Jonesborough
JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (AP) – Tennessee’s oldest town has its citywide yard sale this weekend. Jeff Gurley, owner of The Lollipop Shop, told the Johnson City Press one of the past sales included glow-in-the-dark toilet seats. The spring and fall sales have been going on for about 15 years in the city’s downtown area and all across town in people’s yards. More than 40 private vendors have secured booth space for Saturday’s sale.
