Family-friendly Easter weekend events

JACKSON, Tenn. — This weekend, many families will be celebrating Easter and we have all you need to know about nearby egg hunts, activities and fun for the entire family.

Let’s start in Carroll County, Eastview Baptist Church will be hosting a community Easter egg hunt following the morning worship service on Easter Sunday, April 20 beginning at 10 a.m.

In Chester County, Chickasaw State Park in Henderson will be hosting an Easter egg hunt this Saturday, April 19, at 1 p.m. After the hunt, families can explore the trails, have a picnic, or simply relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the park. This is a free event, though you can register in advance online.

In Crockett County, First Assembly Bells is hosting a community wide ‘eggstravaganza,’ including an egg hunt, prizes, face painting, bounce house and more. The fun will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Gibson County invites you to a city-wide yard sale, spring festival & Easter egg hunt happening in Humboldt on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. All of this springtime fun will be off Gibson Cemetery Road.

Moving now to Hardeman County, the 2nd annual McGowan Foundation Easter egg hunt will be held at Whiteville City Park from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. this Saturday. There will be cash prizes for gold, silver and bronze eggs!!

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Department is hosting an egg hunt at Beech Lake in Lexington Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m. And new this year is the Kids-Fest!

And last but not least, in Henry County, egg hunts will kick off at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Eiffel Tower Park in Paris.
