Community-wide Easter egg hunt held in Greenfield
GREENFIELD, Tenn. — The city of Greenfield hosted a community-wide Easter egg hunt Friday.
Held at the greenfield sports complex, the event boasted more than five thousand hidden eggs full of toys, candy, and gift cards.
The Easter event also included pictures with the Easter bunny, drinks from Coffee 731, and Bebe’s Biscuit Company serving sweet crepes, biscuits and gravy. There was also a bouncy house and a petting zoo.
For those who missed out Friday, there’s a ‘Music in the Park’ event coming soon.
“We’re having an event on May 30 from 6 to 8 at our veterans park uptown and we’re gonna have a band there playing music and we’re gonna have food trucks and corn hole and inflatables and different things so we’re hoping everybody will come, bring your lawn chairs, and enjoy the music,” said Jerica Spikes, city recorder for Greenfield.
The ‘Music in the Park’ event will be at a brand new pavilion built with donated funds.
