Tennessee Unveils Whiskey Trail
The newest of Tennessee self-guided driving tours includes stops in 11 counties featuring some of the state’s most well-known products, including the Jack Daniel’s distillery and the Tennessee walking horse.
Tourism officials unveiled the signs and logo for the Jack Trail during an event Tuesday at the Oaklands Historic House Museum in Murfreesboro. The trail is one of 16 tours in the Discover Trails and Byways program launched by the Tennessee tourism department.
There are 328 tourism sites along the nearly 350 mile-trail, the Daily News Journal reported, including Arrington Vineyards in Williamson County, which is owned by country music artist Kix Brooks.
Brooks said at the event that he was excited to be included in the trail.
