Folk concert helps out ComeUnity Cafe

JACKSON, Tenn. — A folk concert Friday will help out a local business.

ComeUnity Cafe founder Amy Crenshaw says the funds raised Friday will go to help her restaurant feed more people in the community.

The concert will start at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and features several artists from around West Tennessee.

The Dirt Pilgrims will provide the musical entertainment for the event.

“They are an incredible help and any little bit helps,” Crenshaw said. “Of course, a fundraiser that may raise a couple thousand dollars for us is incredible at helping people just support our daily mission of feeding people that need to be fed.”

The concert is free, but there is a suggested donation of $5.
