Body Found in Pasture
A central Kentucky farmer mowing his pasture has run over a human body. Gerrard County Coroner Daryl Hodge says the unidentified body had been there for several days. Hodge said the remains were taken to Frankfort where the medical examiner’s office will try to identify them. The property owner declined comment on camera, but said all he saw was a foot after the mower ran over the body in tall grass on Sunday afternoon. The farm is off Highway thirty-nine near Lancaster. Kentucky State Police are handling the investigation.
