Memphis Tourism pop-up returning for AMP series opener
JACKSON, Tenn. — For the second year now, Memphis Tourism is bringing the home of the Blues, Soul and Rock ‘N Roll to the Hub City.
Memphis-born soul singer Marcus Scott will take the stage on April 25 at The Amp in downtown Jackson.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and live music starts at 7:30 p.m.
In addition to live music and food trucks from Memphis, Memphis Tourism will be on-site to engage with the community and showcase what’s new in Memphis – including daily flights going into and out of Memphis, new attractions, tours and hotels.
“We’re just excited to be back. We had such a good time last year,” said Camille Connor with Memphis Tourism. “You know in Memphis, we pride ourselves on southern hospitality, and Jackson was no different. We’re hoping to keep this ball rolling and keep showing love to them and hopefully seeing them in our destination soon.”
This event is free and open to the public, however it is recommended to secure your spot through Eventbrite. Click here for details.
