UPDATE: Wanted man captured in Madison County

UPDATE: Cortrell Bond has been taken into custody in east Madison County, according to the Jackson Police Department.

Madison County deputies and Jackson police arrested him around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are still asking for your help in their search for a man after SWAT responded Wednesday to a home in north Jackson concerning a domestic assault.

Police Chief Julian Wiser says 25-year-old Cortrell Bond assaulted his girlfriend with a handgun.

Bond has a lengthy criminal history and has active warrants from both the city of Jackson and Madison County.

Officers returned to the area Wednesday night and searched the home after receiving a tip that Bond might be there, but they did not find him.
