Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority holds special session

JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson-Madison County Airport Authority held a special session Wednesday afternoon.

Held at the Jackson Regional Airport, topics on the agenda for Wednesday’s meeting included: A discussion and action regarding the executive director position and a discussion on changing the airport’s organizational structure.

“This airport Wednesday is so much more than it was 25 years ago and I think there’s still levels we can reach,” said Jimmy Harris, airport manager.

Wednesday’s special meeting also involved a discussion to prioritize the development of the airport in conjunction with the budget funds announced last week from the state.
