Clyde Bruce Melson 56, passed away on April 25, 2025, in Jackson Tennessee at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. After along courageous battle with Leukemia. He was surrounded with love from his fiancee Christine Parish and step daughter Emma Parish, when he passed.
Born on August 7, 1968, in Sewanee Tennessee to Hanna Lee and Clyde Amors Melson. He grew up with a deep sense of loyalty, humor, and strength – qualities that would define his life and the way he loved others. Known for his goofiness, intelligence, and tireless work ethic, Clyde was truly one of a kind.
Clyde lived a life marked by resilience and heart. He was known for his loving nature, caring spirit, and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. His hard working attitude stubbornness determination and one of a kind personality left long lasting impressions on those fortunate to know him.
He loved being outdoors, spending time with family, and caring for others and animals. His compassion was matched only by his courage as he fought along battle with Leukemia. Though he grew tired his body never wavered.
Survived by his wife, Kristi Roberson – Melson, from whom he was separated their daughter Bria, His devoted fiancee Christine Parish, who not only stood by his side in love but also served as his primary caregiver during his long battle with Leukemia. His step daughters Emma and Emilee Parish. His siblings Barbara Fortner Bernice Hays, Sally Mays, Bobbie Ballenger, Robbie Reed his brother Jimmy Harris and alot of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Hanna Lee Melson and his father Clyde Amors Melson his brothers Randall Farris, Steve Farris, Clyde Lee Melson, and his sister Kathy Harris.
In keeping with his generous spirit Clyde made the selfless decision to donate his body to Genesis whole body Donation in Memphis Tennessee.
Services will be held at Madison Baptist Church in Jackson Tennessee on June 7th. Visitation with family is at 1pm, with the service to follow at 2pm.
