LIFELINE kicks off annual Cinco De Mayo blood drive

JACKSON, Tenn. — LIFELINE Blood Services hosted their annual Cinco De Mayo themed blood drive Thursday.

Held at their Jackson location, the event lasted from 9 a.m. till 6 p.m. LIFELINE partnered with Tulum Fresh Mexican Grill to offer their first 100 donors a voucher for a free entrée. Each donor also received a limited edition t-shirt.

“You walk away knowing that you’ve impacted up to three lives and those are three lives right here in West Tennessee so you have a local impact and it’s just a really great feeling knowing that you’re making a big difference,” said Melinda Reid, marketing manager for LIFELINE Blood Services.
