West TN Manufacturing Forum brings area leaders together
JACKSON, Tenn. — A West Tennessee manufacturing forum is held, underscoring the strength and momentum of the regional industry.
The Tennessee Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the Greater Jackson Chamber, hosted the West Tennessee Manufacturing Forum on Friday at the JEA training center in Jackson.
The forum brings together leading voices from Tennessee’s manufacturing and economic development communities for a timely discussion on the policies and opportunities shaping the future of the industry in West Tennessee.
“Really important and timely discussion because we have a lot of conversation going on in Washington right now about tariffs, we have a lot of discussion going on in Washington about taxes. All of those things impact investments that companies in Tennessee make and we’re trying to make sure we convene in the right conversations and convene the stakeholders so that we can make sure Tennessee is well-positioned in these conversations,” said Josh Brown, president and CEO of Tennessee Chamber of Commerce.
With West Tennessee playing a growing role in automotive and advanced manufacturing, the forum will focus on how strategic policy decisions like tax reform, infrastructure investment, and workforce development can support long-term industry growth and competitiveness.
