He’s been conducting for around 30 years and is finishing up his tenure with the symphony of northwest Arkansas.
Haas shares that the Jackson Symphony is well operated, with an amazing administration team and board, stating that this role is a dream to walk into.
“It feels amazing. I have to say, I have conducted many, many orchestras over the years and this one is special, has so much going for it, and I just couldn’t be more excited,” said Haas.
Hass states that his job has to do with inspiring incredible musicians to embrace their talents and offer them up in the service of an audience, sharing that it’s a huge team effort at the end of the day.
