Area Relief Ministries says ‘thank you’ to volunteers with special breakfast
JACKSON, Tenn. — Area Relief Ministries hosted a special breakfast Thursday morning.

Held at First United Methodist Church in downtown Jackson, the annual gathering showed heartfelt appreciation to churches and volunteers who supported ARM throughout the year.

The event also celebrated another successful ‘Room in the Inn’ season, a program between ARM and local churches that provides men with emergency shelter during the winter months.

“We’re so thankful for this community, for this city, and this county that has supported ARM and we just want to say ‘thank you’ and, again, it’s by the grace of God that we’ve been able to do this for 18 years,” said Fred McKinnie, executive director for ARM.
The life-saving ‘Room in the Inn’ program has been around since 2007.
