UPDATE (5/14/25): Man arrested after female’s body found in Henry County
The following news release was obtained from a Facebook post by Sheriff Josh Frey to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office page.
HENRY CO. Tenn.—The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are still investigating the discovery of a body on 5-10-2025 at the Gin Creek WMA area on Copper Springs Road in Henry County.
On 5-10-2025, hunters located a body on the edge of the WMA parking lot and the body has been identified as Kristiana Shook-Livingston, white female, age 31, with a last known address listed as homeless in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

At this time the medical examiner office has stated that preliminary cause of death is homicide and the case is being investigated as such.

HENRY CO. Tenn.—The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a death in Henry County Tennessee. On the morning of 5-10-2025 a call was received of a possible body in the parking lot of Gin Creek WMA on Copper Springs Road. Officer’s did locate the body of a deceased female in the parking lot.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with the 24th Judicial District Attorney’s Office were contacted and began to assist with the investigation. The case is still under investigation and next of kin notification is pending. As new information is obtained we’ll update this press release. The Henry County Sheriff’s Office feels this is an isolated incident and that there’s no threat to the public at this time.
