SkyCop cameras, Juneteenth celebration among agenda items for Milan Board of Alderman meeting
MILAN, Tenn. — Local leaders gathered in Milan for their monthly board of aldermen meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed many items on the agenda including the purchasing of four new SkyCop cameras, a Juneteenth celebration event called “Unity in the Park,” plus adopting resolution 25-H & approving Interlocal Agreement-Autumn S.
This item will create a new way for residents to pay their property tax. It will put county, city and school systems all on one single bill.
“It will go into affect as soon as property taxes are due and we start that October first and it runs through February tax season. I know it will be easier for our folks,” said Mayor of Milan BW Beasley.
Every item that was on the agenda was approved.
