JACKSON, Tenn.—JPD issues update on Kate Campbell Park shooting incident.
Update (05/26/25):
[Jackson, TN| – On Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 8:41 p.m., officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting at Kate Campbell Park involving seven victims.
At this time, six of the seven victims have been treated and discharged from the hospital. The seventh victim remains hospitalized in stable condition.
This is still an active and ongoing investigation. We urge anyone with information that could assist in this case to contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 or submit tips anonymously through our Crime Stoppers at 731-424-8477.

[Jackson, TN] — At 8:41 on May 24, 2025, officers of the Jackson Police Department responded to a shooting incident involving juveniles at Kate Campbell Park, 2700 N. Parkway East. Seven individuals were injured in the incident, with one suffering serious injuries and being receiving treatment at a local hospital.
Investigators are currently on scene conducting interviews with witnesses, processing the scene, and following up on leads to determine the circumstances surrounding the event.
