JPD: Early morning shooting incidents in Old Hickory Blvd area
NEWS RELEASE FROM JACKSON POLICE DEPARTMENT
For Immediate Release:
JACKSON, Tenn.—On May 25, 2025. at approximately 3:57 a.m., officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 700 block of Old Hickory Blvd. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 39-year-old male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Shortly after, officers were dispatched to a 911 call in the 800 block of Old Hickory Blvd., where a second male victim reported being shot. He was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
