Law enforcement, other officials seen clearing out local animal rescue
CHESTER COUNTY, Tenn. — WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News tipsters alert us of a police presence at an animal rescue in Chester County.
When our crew arrived on the scene, we noticed tow trucks, transport teams and multiple law enforcement officers moving items off the property of Loving Paws Animal Rescue at 2035 Brown Cemetery Road in Luray.
According to an ASPCA worker we spoke with, there are over a dozen dogs that need to be rescued from the property and they’re having a hard time finding resources for them to receive proper care.
Last November, multiple first responders worked to put out a fire that destroyed the Loving Paws Rescue residence, pivoting their living circumstances to RV campers.

According to neighbors, mandated orders were put in place to clear the property, so now the owner and the dogs have to look for resources to move forward.
We’ll update you on this matter as more information is released.
