Alamo’s mayor, aldermen hold monthly meeting
ALAMO, Tenn. — Leaders in one town meet for their regular monthly meeting.
The board of aldermen and the newly elected mayor of Alamo, Kenneth Bodkins, met to discuss several items on their agenda.
All items on the agenda were voted on by the board of alderman and approved. Also at Monday night’s meeting, was the first reading for the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which was approved.
Mayor Bodkins says some of their goals are to improve Alamo’s water and sewage service and also to reduce the town’s fire rating for residents.
The second reading for the proposed budget will be June 16.
