Career fair to be hosted by STAR Center Friday, June 6
JACKSON, Tenn. — A local job fair is all most here with even more career opportunities.
The STAR Center’s employment fair is coming up this Friday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will be held at the STAR Center located on 1119 Old Humboldt Road.
There will be a variety of employer booths set up such as West Tennessee Healthcare, Leaders Credit Union, and of course, the STAR Center.
Doors are open to everyone and they ask that you be prepared.
“Come ready to be interviewed, so you’re going to want to wear your Sunday best, right. Have a resume with you, be ready to speak to someone on the spot that may want to recruit you may want to interview you on the spot. Or just come because you want to find out what’s available in the community right now,” said Michele Hughey, marketing and development coordinator.
The job fair will also have opportunities for vocational rehabilitation.
