Madison County Master Gardeners celebrate 30 years
JACKSON, Tenn. — One local group holds an annual event recognizing and honoring its members.
The Madison County Master Gardeners hosts their annual awards banquet Thursday evening at the West Tennessee Ag-Research and Education Center auditorium.
This year is the 30th anniversary of the group, where they celebrated the achievements of several members over the past year.
They also presented four scholarships to local high school seniors, recognizing their community service efforts.
The scholarship winners were: Hannah Fowler, Reagan Jones and Levi Keaton, each receiving $1,000. And Zakkery Stewart, who received a $500 scholarship.
