Greenway Nursery in Milan celebrates 50th anniversary

MILAN, Tenn. — One local nursery celebrates a huge milestone with a special ceremony and a grand re-opening.

Greenway Nursery in Milan celebrated it’s 50th anniversary. Greenway opened its doors back in Memphis in 1972, but moved to their current location in 1975.

The event has many fun activities for families including food trucks, pony rides, a petting zoo and live music.

“It’s neat to me to have grown up in the nursery business and a family business and I’ve loved it since I was little and I still do,” said Chris Williams, owner.

You can still join in on the fun this Saturday, June 7 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Greenway Nursery is located on 15474 South First Street in Milan.
