‘The Gifted’ solo art show at The Ned
DOWNTOWN JACKSON, Tenn. — A new art show is in the hub city.
Courtney Haynes is a professional artist from Jackson, and he’s holding a solo art show at the Ned titled, “The Gifted.”
Haynes says his work is inspired by pop culture and everyday events impacting the world.
He says the solo show is a journey of his creative experience throughout his life from childhood to adulthood.
“From 11 or 12 to now I’m 35, you will see art from me. So it can show the progression of art. So that was the whole purpose of this, to show parents that have creative kids no matter where they at right now they can go beyond,” explained Haynes.
Haynes is also doing a weeklong summer camp outside of his studio at 202 B Carraige House in Jackson.
Enrollment is currently open. He’s accepting 12 to 15 kids.
