81% of men say money stress impacts their mental health, survey shows

JACKSON, Tenn. — The silent strain: how financial stress is taking a toll on men’s mental health.

Beyond Finance‘s financial wellness therapist, Nathan Astle, discusses the impact of financial stress on men’s mental health – and what they can do about it.

A new survey shows that 81% of men say money stress impacts their mental health, but more than half haven’t told anyone.

“You are not your paycheck,” Astle said. “You aren’t your debt. These are things you have that you might need to deal with, but it’s not who you are.”

“Bet on Me!” encourages men to stop gambling with their wellbeing and start building financial resiliency.
