Man injured in crash involving motorcycle and pickup
PRESS RELEASE FROM THE MARTIN POLICE DEPARTMENT:
MARTIN, Tenn. — On Thursday, June 12, 2025 at approximately 2:48pm, a crash occurred just north of the overpass located at Hwy 22 and Industrial Park Dr.
A 2012 Nissan Frontier pickup being operated by Donald W. Lockard, 66 of Union City, TN was traveling north on Industrial Park Drive and turned left into the path of a 2021 Harley Davidson motorcycle being operated by Kenneth R. Bynum, 54 of Martin, TN.
Mr. Bynum was traveling south on Industrial Park Dr.
Mr. Bynum was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
He was transported by ambulance from the scene.
Mr. Lockard was uninjured.
There were no other passengers involved in the crash.
Martin Police Department Crash Investigator Captain Trae Vaughn investigated the incident.
