Boston butt sale held as West TN Veterans Coalition fundraiser

JACKSON, Tenn. — One local organization is selling barbecue to help support veterans.

The West Tennessee Veterans Coalition teamed up with Cajun Cookers, located in Three Way, to sell Boston butts.

This event took place Friday with the price at $50 a ticket.

“You can purchase these online at our website westtnvets.org or you can go to our Facebook page,” said Larry Newsom, co-chair of the West Tennessee Veterans Coalition.

All proceeds will go to programs that support events that are held on Veterans Day, such as the Veterans Day parade and the observance held at Englewood Baptist Church.
