Storms cause flooding and road closures

Heavy rain across West Tennessee has caused many areas to experience flooding and roads to be closed.

Here is a list of road closures to consider when driving:

HARDEMAN COUNTY:

  • Road closed from Middleburg Road to 1290 Somerville Road. The road is completely washed away
  • Pea Vine Road closed between Reeves Road and Bass Road. The road is washing away
  • Road closed near 325 Hornsby Loop due to a tree being down and blocking the entire roadway
  • Highway 18 N, just north of Bolivar city limits, is closed due to a tree blocking the southbound lane
  • Near 925 Clifft Road is closed due to a tree being down and blocking the roadway
  • Near 1620 Mt. Comfort Drive due to a tree down and blocking the roadway
  • Naylor Road, near Hwy 138, a tree is down and blocking the entire roadway
  • Vildo Road, near Newsome Road, has a tree down and is blocking the roadway.

HARDIN COUNTY:

  • Coffee Landing Road, near Tea Lane and Leaning Tree, is flooded

MADISON COUNTY:

  • 900 block of Mifflin Road has power lines down across the road that is blocking both sides of the road.
