Employers Named to 2025 Workers’ Compensation REWARD Honor Roll
Awards Recognizes Excellence in Tennessee Return-to-Work Programs

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) announces the six outstanding employers recently named members of the 2025 REWARD Honor Roll. These companies were recognized before the BWC’s annual educational conference for their exceptional return-to-work programs, which prioritize employee recovery and resilience after a workplace injury.

“This year’s honorees represent the gold standard in return-to-work support,” said BWC Administrator Troy Haley. “Their commitment to employee well-being reduces lost time and builds stronger, more resilient workforces. We’re especially proud that five employers are repeat honorees—proof of their lasting dedication to doing what’s right for their teams.”

2025 REWARD Honor Roll Inductees

  • Averitt Express, Cookeville (Second Consecutive Year)
  • Blount County Government, Maryville (Second Consecutive Year)
  • Brookdale Senior Living, 20 Tennessee locations (Second Consecutive Year)
  • TK Elevator, Middleton
  • U.S. Engineering Innovations LLC, Clarksville (Second Consecutive Year)
  • Yamaha Jet Boat Manufacturing U.S.A. Inc., Vonore (Second Consecutive Year)

The REWARD program equips employers with tools to design effective return-to-work strategies, helping injured employees safely resume work while maintaining productivity.

“Putting the employee first is the foundation of our success,” said Tonya Acred of TK Elevator. “We try to get them back because they want to be back, it’s about showing you care.”

Brookdale Senior Living’s Brittany Saunders emphasized the importance of long-term program stability: “Cross-training is incredibly important, so the program thrives, even during staffing changes.”

“These six employers are proving that investing in an effective return-to-work program isn’t just good for people, it’s good for business,” said Suzy Douglas, BWC Assistant Administrator.

The BWC invites all Tennessee employers to build their return-to-work programs and apply for the 2026 REWARD Honor Roll. Applications are open year-round and must be submitted by October 31, 2025.
