Accomplished creator makes a return home to Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.—A Jackson native returns home for a special signing event.

Mike Norton, an award winning comic book artist, was available to visit Saturday at Comics Universe located at 1869 US 45 Bypass in Jackson.

Norton, who is the co-creator of the hit SYFY comic series “Revival,” was present from 1 Saturday afternoon until 4 signing autographs and talking with fans.

Copies of his comics were also available for purchase at the event.

Norton has contributed a great deal to the world of comics including his award winning “Battlepug” web-comic along with contributions to “The Rock Gods of Jackson, Tennessee,” “Grumble” and more. Norton has even worked on some Marvel, and DC comics.

“Right now I’m working on the final issues of “Crypto.” I’m doing a new book of “Battlepug.” It’s my own personal comic that I’m self publishing on Kickstarter right now, so you can actually get a copy through Kickstarter right now,” Norton said.

Norton was met with many excited fans at today’s free event who were happy to welcome him home to Jackson.
